Types of Trenchless Technologies
Pipe Bursting
Pipe bursting is a revolutionary method of trenchless replacement of failed sewer lines which requires much less mess than traditional excavation. Bursting involves putting a cable into the existing pipe and pulling a cutting head through to break up the old pipe while simultaneously installing a new pipe. Not only does bursting cost less than traditional excavation, it is also much faster than trenching and only requires a small entry and exit hole to be excavated.
Directional Drilling
Directional drilling is a minimal impact method of installing underground utility services such as water pipe, sewer pipe, electrical conduit, cables, or any type of underground utility that previously required digging a trench.
