FORBES was friendly professional and fast!I had a water leak in the main line that feeds our house. We diagnosed this a few days before Christmas. I called all around and other plumbers were too busy or could not come out till after Christmas. I... called Forbes pluming and explained that we needed to fix this ASAP as my water pressure was rapidly decreasing. The office was very responsive and had the owner Sean call me within a few minutes.We got the estimate that night and we scheduled a repair the next day on 12/23/21. The crew and Sean came out that night even after working a long day! They started the job at 5:00 PM and worked till about 10:00 PM and fixed the leak!!I cannot say enough how fast and friendly their whole crew was. I highly recommend Forbes plumbing and will use them again.read more

Great service! Job was done professionally and on time. There was additional work required because my sink hole was a little too small for the new sink from Costco. However, our plumber was able to carefully cut the tile without damaging the rest of... the counter space.I will definitely be calling them in the future if needed. You get what you pay for. Initially I went through Angi and they sent me a cheap tech that couldn’t even turn off the water… epic disaster.read more

Huggy and Dave showed up right on time to replace a kitchen faucet that had totally put me at my wits end. I tell you what you get dinner AND a show when these two show up. They went over several options on the best way to setup the new faucet and... even educated me on several unique plumbing terms. I "fix" a lot of things myself and I call in extra help very sparingly but Huggy/Dave and Forbes plumbing were absolutely worth it. Thank you!read more

We have had excellent experiences with Forbes. We had a major hot water leak which caused alot of damage under our house. They came out quickly and fixed our leak no problem. The staff is helpful and encouraging. The plumbers are knowledgeable,... efficient and professional. After our first experience we have had them out twice more for other jobs and are just as happy with each plumber we have had. We asked for help with a big project and they sent an inspector/problem solver who inspected all our pipes and helped us come up with a reasonable plan to proceed including up-to-date info on new technology that could really help our situation. Each and everyone was respectful of my husband who is in a wheelchair and has not been able to see for himself, but has experience and is knowledgeable in this field. They have taken pictures and brought pipe for him to see. We would heartily recommend Forbes Plumbing to anyone.read more

As landlords, we have used Forbes for years and have always been happy with the quality their work but they recently moved to a fixed price system which really jacked their charges. Our last four bills (for basic jobs like fixing a leaky kitchen... faucet or a shower controller that slipped) each cost over $400, even though the tenant of the most recent job said the plumbers were only there about 15 minutes.read more

Called to have a shower floor installed as part of a new acrylic surround. Larry and his apprentice Stephan were on time and very professional and personable as well. They also installed a new shower valve while raising the height of both the valve... itself as well as shower head. They must have done that type of job a million times before because it went very smoothly and very quickly. I was originally told the job was going to take all day. Everything was done and cleaned up after only a couple of hours. We were called by the office and informed because the job did not take as long as originally anticipated the invoice was going to be reduced (quite substantially). We did have a minor hiccup. The valve was set too far forward and the escutcheon was not making sufficient contact with the wall of the shower. No fault of Larry and Stephan the wall was still boxed up in the garage and is concaved. I called the office and the guys were out the next day and had the problem solved in minutes with no additional charge. I’m a firm believer in hiring local when possible and I would highly recommend Forbes for the type of jobs mentioned in this review. Thanks again Forbes!read more

The estimate was quick and thorough, and the office was very responsive and helpful. Everything was fine until the plumber "Huggy" came to perform the repair. I had to remind him to install the pipe on the inside of the wall per the estimate... write-up, and then had a confrontation with him due to his bad-faith question and subsequent arguing with me over mask wearing during this our 3rd year of the pandemic. I appreciated that the owner, Sean, was very responsive and understanding to my complaint, stating his employees undergo meetings to avoid this kind of behavior, and he will have a conversation with him on the matter. For those who care and hire Forbes, beware of antagonists such as "Huggy" who come into your home with an axe to grind.read more

They had great customer service when I called. They were able to send someone out the next day for our urgent need. They were able to come early and called me to communicate when they were coming with an hours notice. They came in, did the job and... left. Super fast and explained everything to us. They had a good sense of humor and were very friendly. I would definitely recommend 😄read more
